Pops 70th birthday

We rented Turnip and Corn house as they could accomodate a large family group with 8 bedrooms. The accommodation is perfect for a large group with a round table that will seat 10 adults easily for dinner in corn house. Sara is very accommodationg and nothing is too much trouble. You really must vist the spa pool which is brand new and fabulous. You have a private session for 2 hours and It is £10 a head -but worth every penny .Towels are provided. The children loved the pool , go karts and the play area. You reall do not need to leave the farm. Tea coffee and sugar ,washingup and cleaning materials are all provided for you.. Thank you Sara

Awesome Holiday

We stayed in Turnip House, it was well beyond our expectations. Very clean, welcoming, spacious and had absolutely everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the family room was perfect. The farm was spectacular, we loved the all the sheep and we lucky to be there while they were sheering the sheep. The pool, gym and spa are a must do and worth the extra cost, the infinity pool was beautiful. Our sons loved the gym too. We all had fun with the go carts, there was so much to do but unfortunately we didn't have enough time to do everything. The location was great, there was no need to leave but if you want to explore it was a short drive to visit the surrounding towns. We were sorry we didn't plan to stay longer and will definitely go back. We highly recommend Plaish Park Farm, it is a great family vacation place.

A wonderful family holiday

A wonderful family holiday with an eight year old, three three year olds and two one year olds! There was plenty to do on site including feeding the pigs, collecting eggs and go karting not to mention several play areas with sand pits. Set in a lovely area with fabulous views a real gem.

Great games party venue with lots to do!

I have been looking for a venue for a surprise birthday weekend and this place ticked all the boxes: 2 spacious cottages which joined seamlessly as one for a group of 16 people sleeping over (there were 2 king, 2 double and 4 twin rooms); Lots of parking space; All facilities were very accessible (swimming pool, two games rooms (pool table, table football, table tennis, piano, black board, dart board), tennis court, pedal adult and kids go karts, pony rides, farm animals (inc chicken pen where you can go and collect laid eggs), hike, boating in a lake, sandpit, mini playground, swingball in the garden, bbq with charcoal, the list is endless and something for everyone (and age) to do); Host Sara was really nice, lives onsite so was always around when you needed help but otherwise we were given a lot of privacy to enjoy ourselves. Didn't really want to leave!; The two cottages had everything, tea, coffee, sugar, cooking oil, cooking utensils, dishwashers, four fridges, CD's, books, magazines, board games, kid's toys and each cottage had a log burner etc; We wanted to bring arcade machines (a DDR and a retro arcade machine) which we were allowed to do and the hire company we used had no problem placing them in one of the games' rooms; and Finally the sweeping landscape of the Shropshire hills was amazing, especially during sunset. A few helpful fyi: Phone signal is poor in the area - I would advise working out the route in advance, the farm website has a good "how to find us" but maybe needs updating because Longville Arms Hotel is no longer there (closed down); There is wifi in the cottages, it is ok on the whole but can be a bit slow at times; Hiring the swimming pool and pony ride requires a small fee and at allocated times which can be booked with Sara onsite. Last allotted time for swimming pool is 5pm, it would have been good to have the pool available in the evenings too especially when it is still light in the evenings; and Min nights I could hire was 3 nights even though I only really needed it for the weekend, but I am still very happy with the choice of venue, just wish it could have been more flexi on stay. On the whole it was a very impressive venue and offered more than I imagined. Everyone that came all loved it. Some people wanted to return in the future, even if just to hire the swimming pool, which is modern and stunning with UV filtered water, jacuzzi, hot showers and lounge chairs with great views of the countryside.

Amazing week at Plaish Park Farm

We had an amazing week at Plaish Park Farm staying at the Spinney Retreat. Sara and her family are lovely hosts, very helpful and can't thank them enough for making our week so relaxing. The swimming pool is stunning, the accommodation is clean, cosy, homely and had everything we could possibly need. The games rooms are well equipped, we really enjoyed playing table tennis and tennis. To be able to see the lambs being born was amazing. David took the time to explain everything to us as we were interested. Lots to see and do within 30 minutes of this location such as The Iron Bridge, Victorian town Blists Hill, hiking. In summary, we had an amazing break and would highly recommend Plaish Park Farm.

Spa experience

As well as the warm welcome and five star accommodation there is a first class Spa on site. Although you need to pay for the excellent facility you will not be disappointed. It is a brand new infinity pool and gym and offers pure luxury.

Great property

We stayed in Turnip House as part of a group of seven going to a wedding nearby. The house has been very thoughtfully converted, was very well equipped and as it was the beginning of December, the wood burning stove in the living room was particularly cosy. There was plenty of parking for our group and despite being a working farm, it was never intrusive. The new 25 metre swimming pool is very nice, you can book to use it in two hour slots. I would suggest everyone should consider booking a session in which to use it. We did not have a phone signal as the farm is in a rural location, but the wifi in the Turnip house was excellent. There are many excellent walks nearby. I would highly recommend this property
