Awesome Holiday

We stayed in Turnip House, it was well beyond our expectations. Very clean, welcoming, spacious and had absolutely everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the family room was perfect. The farm was spectacular, we loved the all the sheep and we lucky to be there while they were sheering the sheep. The pool, gym and spa are a must do and worth the extra cost, the infinity pool was beautiful. Our sons loved the gym too. We all had fun with the go carts, there was so much to do but unfortunately we didn't have enough time to do everything. The location was great, there was no need to leave but if you want to explore it was a short drive to visit the surrounding towns. We were sorry we didn't plan to stay longer and will definitely go back. We highly recommend Plaish Park Farm, it is a great family vacation place.

Best family holiday ever

Our family of 6 adults, 2 young children and 2 dogs stayed in corn house for a week. We can't speak more highly of the welcome we received and the facilities offered. The accommodation was clean, spacious and had pretty much everything needed. Including all those little things generally forgotten, oil, cling film, salt....etc. Beds and sofas/chairs were comfortable with a log burner to add to the home from home feeling. Then there were the other benefits... the go carts, swing ball, tennis, swing park and games rooms were great fun for adults and kids alike. The kids were delighted with the pony ride as the adults enjoyed the walk equally. The boat was also great fun but the canoe was missing and oars need replacing - but this was very minor and we had great fun paddling around with the swans and their signets. The local pub could do with moving a little closer but food is good and locals very welcoming so worth the effort. Oh and did I mention the pool. A real luxury and fantastic to have it to ourselves. The £80 seemed a little steep but if we'd known earlier there is a reduction for repeated use we would have used it more. There was no need to leave the farm - collecting eggs for breakfast... what a treat! But if you do we'd recommend The Fox which is just 20mins drive. A place of tranquillity. Just the place to unwind and recharge. Thank you so much. We will be returning!

Excellent self-catering place for a holiday break

Spent a weekend at Plaish Park Farm holiday cottages with our extended family for a birthday celebration. There were 15 of us from aged 2 to 80. Very relaxing and good fun. The rooms in the cottages were spacious, welcoming, clean, full of interesting books and other things and very well equipped. We found everything we could have needed which included: fast wifi, TV in each room, firelighters and logs for the wood burning fire in the comfy living room, even silver foil in the kitchen. There were high chairs, a vacuum cleaner and even stain remover in the utility room. All 15 of us could sit easily at the big round dining table in Corn House. There were folders full of leaflets for local eateries and things to do in the area. Best of all was the (brand new) indoor swimming pool which we had to ourselves for a 2 hour booking (for a small fee). Expected something small but this was big, I think maybe 25m, although not deep. There were lots of large towels, good showers, several loungers and chairs and another separate seating area, and a small gym with treadmill etc. We even had music in the pool courtesy of an integral ipad! The water was quite warm and it was possible to swim lengths if wanted. Outdoors there were steel barbecues if needed and lots of games - 'swingball', a tennis court, pedal go-karts, etc. We will definitely return!

80th birthday family reunion

We have just spent a fantastic long weekend at Plaish Park Farm to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday. We were a group of 15 people, age ranges 2-80. We hired Corn House, Turnip House (which are interconnecting) and Spinney Retreat. Houses are well-equipped, super clean and very cosy. Corn House has a massive round table and all 15 of us were able to sit and eat together. We hired the swimming pool for 2 hours on Saturday which was the highlight of our stay. 15 of us had the wonderful pool to ourselves. The boys played tennis and had great fun on the go karts (as did the adults). The 2 year old loved the play area and collecting eggs from the hens in the morning. Surrounding countryside is beautiful & we had a lovely lunch in Church Stretton 15 mins away. All in all a great stay. Highly recommended.

Perfect family cottage for children and dogs (and adults!)

Stayed at The Corn House for a long weekend with children, grandchildren and 2 dogs. The cottage was perfect for all of us. The farm was well equipped for the children to play safely. The little ones loved the toy tractors and the adults, the go carts. The sand pit in the garden was well used and collecting eggs from the chickens was a new experience. It was great being able to walk the dogs on the farm. The swimming pool was a luxurious extra which we all enjoyed. Throughly recommended. Ludlow Castle was very impressive for a trip out, as was Carding Mill Valley in Church Stretton.

Perfect family break

We had a fantastic family get together at Turnip House for the week. The barn was stunning, with a large and cozy living room, comfy beds and a really well-equipped kitchen with fab views when you're washing up. There was something here to please everyone - toys for the toddler, pigs to feed and eggs to collect, two great games room and fun for all on the go-karts. We enjoyed walking the fields, watching the wildlife and paddling about on the little rowing boat. Mountain biking from the house was a bonus for our teenage son. Church Stretton is a pretty town, with an amazing deli, interesting shops and a lovely market on Friday. There is loads to explore in the surrounding area.

Hen do at Plaish park!

What a fab location and accommodation! We stayed at Plaish Park Barns for the weekend for my friend's hen weekend. This is a brilliant location for a hen weekend or a weekend away with friends or family. We stayed in the old cow barn which sleeps 11 and is very spacious. Each room is en suite and there is enough space for everyone to sit round the dining table and relax. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and had everything we needed. There was ample parking outside. The best part of this place though has to be the spa area. This was extremely clean and provided a fab afternoon for us to relax. The pool area was really modern and a wonderful surprise. Sara was a great host and helped me to organise the perfect weekend for my friend - she was able to recommend walks, local pubs and also help me organise spa treatments for everyone as well. We weren't a rowdy group and so I think Palish park farm is perfect for a hen do as long as people are mindful of the other guests also staying in the other cottages. Finally the icing on the cake was Pip the dog who moved in with us for the weekend! This is a lovely place to stay and I would highly recommend it. Thank you to Sara and her family

A wonderful family holiday with an eight year old, three three year olds and two one year olds! There was plenty to do on site including feeding the pigs, collecting eggs and go karting not to mention several play areas with sand pits. Set in a lovely area with fabulous views a real gem.
