Hen do at Plaish park!

What a fab location and accommodation! We stayed at Plaish Park Barns for the weekend for my friend's hen weekend. This is a brilliant location for a hen weekend or a weekend away with friends or family. We stayed in the old cow barn which sleeps 11 and is very spacious. Each room is en suite and there is enough space for everyone to sit round the dining table and relax. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and had everything we needed. There was ample parking outside. The best part of this place though has to be the spa area. This was extremely clean and provided a fab afternoon for us to relax. The pool area was really modern and a wonderful surprise. Sara was a great host and helped me to organise the perfect weekend for my friend - she was able to recommend walks, local pubs and also help me organise spa treatments for everyone as well. We weren't a rowdy group and so I think Palish park farm is perfect for a hen do as long as people are mindful of the other guests also staying in the other cottages. Finally the icing on the cake was Pip the dog who moved in with us for the weekend! This is a lovely place to stay and I would highly recommend it. Thank you to Sara and her family

There's a time and a Plaish!

Sara kindly fitted us in at short notice, the accomodation is top notch, it's in a fantastic area. Dog friendly. A host of fun things for kids to do, onsite. We will definitely be returning soon. The spa looks great, but didn't get time to check it out.

Lovely quiet retreat

Spent a wonderful relaxing week here with family and dogs. Having packed everything required for a week's self catering holiday .. inc the Kitchen sink at my wife's insistence!! It was a pleasant surprise to find the the accommodation was fully supplied with everything you could possibly require . We had the olde cow house and the spinney retreat and both were equipped to a similar high standard. There are plenty of lovely scenic walks locally . And it is a very peacefully location with an abundance of wildlife. They have a gym, swimming pool available at additional cost. But the games rooms pool table, table tennis etc are all free of charge. Take basic essentials with you like milk, bread , butter . Shopping can be obtained from Church Stretton, Much Wenlock or for larger superstores Shrewsbury or Telford. A very historic area with plenty to see and do but you will need a vehicle. I suggest you contact Sara Jones directly with any queries as she will be only too pleased to help you with any issues or concerns you may have. Extremely friendly and a lovely place to relax very dog friendly also.

Fantastic place and amazing family

We had a surprisingly eventful trip to Plaish- and the owners saved the day multiple times. We can’t thank them enough! The forecast had been for light snow (December 2017). Seven friends set out to meet up at Plaish from various parts of the country. The snow came down much heavier than anticipated and two of our group got stuck on a road up to the farm. Both with young children in their cars. The family were fantastic, they simultaneously rescued both of us and got everyone to the house, and their cars. The Tesco delivery couldn’t get through to the house, so the family kindly provided us with food (including fresh free range eggs!). They even provided sledges, and made sure we were able to safely navigate the roads home at the end of our stay. I really can’t rate this place highly enough. Would give 10 stars if we could! Also special mention to the friendly local family who also helped with the stranded car situation. Lovely part of the country.

Amazing week at Plaish Park Farm

We had an amazing week at Plaish Park Farm staying at the Spinney Retreat. Sara and her family are lovely hosts, very helpful and can't thank them enough for making our week so relaxing. The swimming pool is stunning, the accommodation is clean, cosy, homely and had everything we could possibly need. The games rooms are well equipped, we really enjoyed playing table tennis and tennis. To be able to see the lambs being born was amazing. David took the time to explain everything to us as we were interested. Lots to see and do within 30 minutes of this location such as The Iron Bridge, Victorian town Blists Hill, hiking. In summary, we had an amazing break and would highly recommend Plaish Park Farm.

Awesome Holiday

We stayed in Turnip House, it was well beyond our expectations. Very clean, welcoming, spacious and had absolutely everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the family room was perfect. The farm was spectacular, we loved the all the sheep and we lucky to be there while they were sheering the sheep. The pool, gym and spa are a must do and worth the extra cost, the infinity pool was beautiful. Our sons loved the gym too. We all had fun with the go carts, there was so much to do but unfortunately we didn't have enough time to do everything. The location was great, there was no need to leave but if you want to explore it was a short drive to visit the surrounding towns. We were sorry we didn't plan to stay longer and will definitely go back. We highly recommend Plaish Park Farm, it is a great family vacation place.
