Peaceful farm setting, countryside retreat

Such a relaxing break, lovely walks in the countryside, great to meet the pigs, collect eggs from the chickens, even watch a lamb being born, all part of a magical experience. The new leisure spa infinity pool is beautiful, and great to hire out the whole place for a real treat. The go-karts were a favourite with the kids, the games room was popular with the dads, playing pool! Even has a piano to show off their talents, really was a brilliant time for everyone. The accommodation is spacious, well kitted out, cosy log burning stoves, and comfortable, sumptuous beds with luxurious bedding. The newly appointed annexe is stunning. We will definitely return, the sooner the better!

Lovely quiet retreat

Spent a wonderful relaxing week here with family and dogs. Having packed everything required for a week's self catering holiday .. inc the Kitchen sink at my wife's insistence!! It was a pleasant surprise to find the the accommodation was fully supplied with everything you could possibly require . We had the olde cow house and the spinney retreat and both were equipped to a similar high standard. There are plenty of lovely scenic walks locally . And it is a very peacefully location with an abundance of wildlife. They have a gym, swimming pool available at additional cost. But the games rooms pool table, table tennis etc are all free of charge. Take basic essentials with you like milk, bread , butter . Shopping can be obtained from Church Stretton, Much Wenlock or for larger superstores Shrewsbury or Telford. A very historic area with plenty to see and do but you will need a vehicle. I suggest you contact Sara Jones directly with any queries as she will be only too pleased to help you with any issues or concerns you may have. Extremely friendly and a lovely place to relax very dog friendly also.

Great Retreat

Holiday cottages made up to a great standard. Plenty of easy local walks, animals to look at and fresh eggs every day from the chickens. Some great restaurants close by and plenty to see and do. The pedal carts and games room are great touches for kids and adults alike. On a clear night there is so little light pollution the stars are amazing. We had a fantastic week and I will definitely be returning.

Perfect family break

We had a fantastic family get together at Turnip House for the week. The barn was stunning, with a large and cozy living room, comfy beds and a really well-equipped kitchen with fab views when you're washing up. There was something here to please everyone - toys for the toddler, pigs to feed and eggs to collect, two great games room and fun for all on the go-karts. We enjoyed walking the fields, watching the wildlife and paddling about on the little rowing boat. Mountain biking from the house was a bonus for our teenage son. Church Stretton is a pretty town, with an amazing deli, interesting shops and a lovely market on Friday. There is loads to explore in the surrounding area.

80th birthday family reunion

We have just spent a fantastic long weekend at Plaish Park Farm to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday. We were a group of 15 people, age ranges 2-80. We hired Corn House, Turnip House (which are interconnecting) and Spinney Retreat. Houses are well-equipped, super clean and very cosy. Corn House has a massive round table and all 15 of us were able to sit and eat together. We hired the swimming pool for 2 hours on Saturday which was the highlight of our stay. 15 of us had the wonderful pool to ourselves. The boys played tennis and had great fun on the go karts (as did the adults). The 2 year old loved the play area and collecting eggs from the hens in the morning. Surrounding countryside is beautiful & we had a lovely lunch in Church Stretton 15 mins away. All in all a great stay. Highly recommended.

Would highly recommend it

We could not have asked for more. The owner was so helpful with recommendation where to go and our amenities were superb. Even down to a pint of milk in fridge on arrival, tea coffee and sugar. Lovely house and would highly recommend it
